With its triangular cushion and rounded frame, the George Nelson Coconut Chair (1956) redefined what comfortable and attractive lounge seating could be. The secret is that the third corner β€” the one that forms the backrest β€” is slightly longer than those on the side, giving users extra support and wiggle room. While our version of the Coconut Lounge Chair remains true to the original design, we’re using a more sustainable polymer for the shell and have expanded the upholstery options.
